Hi
I’d like to comment that I was not entirely able to follow the directions for use of this product. The zip file, as stated, does contain all the described formats, but the mr4 for the i-phone is not recognized by iTunes.
Also, I’d really like to see an app that lets you use these alarm tones for system sounds like sendig or receiving messages, unlocking the device etc…

If you just drag the M4R files to iTunes it will automatically be added as ringtones in iTunes – you can also double-click an M4R file and it will install in the ringtones folder.
We are not able to add tones to the message alert tones at the moment as it is not allowed in the current firmware (3.0) – we will be producing tones as soon as it is possible.

Do these work on the 2G iPod touch?

M4R will not work on the Touch – but you can convert them from mp3 to m4a in iTunes and that should work fine.

I can’t figure out how to get my meeting alerts in the iPhone calendar to use these alarm tones. The promos clearly say they’re for “meeting alerts” so what gives? If this isn’t possible, I’ve wasted my money.

Sadly some of the alert tones in the iPhone are not customizable at the moment – including sms alerts, which is a limitation from Apple.
