Just thought we would share this picture with you of Chris Pirillo and Geoff Smith from the recent Macworld ’09.
We have just released the fortieth weekly batch of ringtones and if you are a subscriber they will all be available in your feed by the time you read this as usual.
This week the ringtone is titled “Contesta El Telefono” and it is a tribute to our spanish speaking audience who helped us rank #1 podcast in the iTunes store in Spain last week – we hope you will all enjoy this happy ringtone. The instrumental tone this week is Backwards and yes you need to check that out to know what we are talking about.
Make sure you right-click the RingtoneFeeder podcast in iTunes and select “Update Podcast” and then click the “GET ALL” button to make sure all the tones are downloaded automatically.
If you are a subscriber, don’t forget to vote for the weekly ringtone below or in the members vote section so we can get a feeling for what you like, otherwise have a go at the free demo feed to check out what we are offering.
This week Geoff was interviewed by Larry Jordan at Digital Production Buzz he talks about making independent music and getting it distributed in a digital world.
He talks about the last 3 years of his life from jingles to albums and of course ringtones as well as self-distribution of music.
The interview starts around 26 minutes into the show and last roughly 7 minutes.
We have just released the thirteenth update to the Ones and 0s album which is an exclusive version of “In a little while”.
This is is a song Geoff forgot about that almost made it on the original Ones and 0s Album. It is a very moving song about being a stage performer and life on the road..
To get the update just check your Ones and 0s podcast in iTunes and refresh. The new track should be downloading right away, do drop us a line if you face any issues.
Extra material will also be available for download for the Ones and 0s subscribers.
We are keen to make the web app the best we possibly can. Sadly we can’t install ringtones from the app due to limitations set by Apple, but you can subscribe to our free video podcast directly from the web app and that’s a great start.
Try it out on your iPhone and let us know what you think we can do to improve the app – we will give 6 months free subscription to RingtoneFeeder for the one with the best suggestion.
We have received quite a lot of requests for alarm tones for use with the iPhone alarm clock – so this week we produced the first one.
To use your iPhone alarm clock with a custom tone is pretty easy – below some easy steps to get you set and a screenshot of what it could look like.
